<p>One of the first things we learn in Marketing is to always use the WIIFM<br />
mantra on any piece of advertising we create (WIIFM = What’s In It For Me). That is what your client is saying/thinking</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>In this piece, I don’t see it – All I see is that I am being sold to.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Your end user is NOT opening/reading eMails with the goal of buying something.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Buying is just a by-product of your users engagement with YOU and your info.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>An email needs to be either Educational or Entertaining – A purchase will come as a byproduct of that experience</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Users need to be engaged and the more they know about YOU the more they will trust and read what you have to say (even if you sell them every once in a while)</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Use personal stories and tie them into your products – I’ve been very successful in taking personal events and tying them into a product by starting the email with a story.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>50% of your efforts needs to be spent on the subject line. if your subject is not compelling the email will not be opened.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Always split test 2 or more headlines with same content. Find out what works, repeat and rinse on subsequent campaigns.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>25% of your efforts needs to be spent on the first line or 2 of the body. Most webmail systems give the user a preview of the first line or 2. I make a lot of my decisions on opening an email by reading that first line or 2.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>The offer in this eMail needs to give me the reasons why I should buy (better health/less work/more money etc) – Price is not a reason – You are not selling a commodity.</li>
</p>
<li>
<p>Lastly ,educate and entertain in your eMail – “Move the FREE line and give your best content away” the sales will follow.</p>
</li>

Now how to get visitors to your website? Also, not just visitors, but targeted, quality visitors who are really looking for your product or service. </p>
<p>How do you do Cincinnati SEO? Well before we even do that, make sure you take a look at this checklist and have everything in order first:</p>
<p>1.) Who are you targeting? This is something you need to determine even before you design your website. Don’t get stuck with the usual look of websites where they have generic categories and everything. </p>
<p>Make sure you know who you’re targeting, and adjust your links, and information accordingly. For example, if you’re looking to target senior citizens for your product or service, make the fonts bigger and everything easily readable and accessible. The opposite would probably be true if your product catered to computer programmers or techie people.</p>
<p>2.) What is the objective of your website? Do you want to actually generate sales via orders from the website or just have it as something to boost the image and credibility of your new company? Do you intend to collect their email addresses and contact information for future marketing purposes, or are you just planning on giving them info so that they can make good purchase decisions? Again, adjust your website to cater to your own objectives for your visitors.</p>
<p>3.) Why would a visitor return to your site? Notice that we’re not looking at how to get them to return, but we’re really tackling their personal reasons for returning. Basketball fans might like your regular updates about the league that they’re following, or single mothers might be able to get tips on raising their children alone. It’s very important to provide value along with your product and services so that they visit frequently and probably also refer your website to their friends.</p>
<p>These tips will ensure that any Cincinnati SEO that you do would not be done in vain. Imagine having thousands of visitors on your website, almost everyone dissatisfied and just leaving your website and never returning because you fail to really address what your website needs to be in line with your customers and your business.</p>
